In 2005 I was fortunate enough to stumble on a 35 year woodworking vetran who had become too elderly to continue in his craft. As an aspiring furniture maker he gave me an unbelievable deal on almost the entirety of his shop and tools. As a result I finally now have a full featured shop and enjoy creating furniture for friends and family as well as teaching others how to work with wood. Raised Garden Beds, April 2007

The soil at my home in Santa Fe, NM had far too much sand and clay to provide quality gardening. So even with 10 acres available to find a plot I decided to build 7 raised beds and bring in 6 tons of quality garden soil. These raised beds were built to stand up to the UV and weather for many years but be an attractive landscaping feature to the property as well. Each bed is 4x6' providing just under 25 sq ft of garden space each.

Walnut, Maple, and Cherry Buffet Table, September 2005

This buffet was designed around excess wood I had available in the shop. With my tool purchase I recieved almost 100 board feet of walnut, but it was all in 3-4 inch widths, 4 to 6 foot lengths, and a variety of thicknesses, this table was a perfect use for some of it.

Cherry and Maple Coffee Table, July 2005

This cherry table with maple inlays on the top and legs was completed in tandom with the table below as a demonstration and creative inspiration for Mike to design one as well.

White Oak with Cocobolo Coffee Table, July 2005

This table was completed with my assistance by my good friend Mike Steffen as his first real furniture endeavour. He later added two matching end tables to complete the project as a living room set.
